Community guidelines

Kuppi is a shared space for learners and teachers across Sri Lanka. These rules keep it useful and safe for everyone.

1. Be respectful

Treat every member — student, teacher, parent — with basic courtesy. No harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, gender, caste, disability, or language.

2. Keep it academic

This platform exists to help students learn. Avoid unrelated promotion, political campaigning, or spam. Share resources that genuinely help others.

3. Do not cheat

Do not post live exam questions during an exam session. Do not solicit or pay for direct exam answers. Learning is the goal — Kuppi is for understanding, not shortcuts.

4. Respect copyright

Share past papers and past model papers freely; they are public domain in Sri Lanka once released. Do not upload copyrighted textbooks, private tuition class materials, or anything you do not have the right to distribute.

5. Protect privacy

Do not share anyone's personal contact details, photos, or location without their consent. This applies equally to teachers, students, and minors.

6. Teachers: be honest

If you list badges (verified, university lecturer, past examiner), they must be truthful. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal. Clearly state fees for paid classes up front.

7. Students: be careful

Kuppi cannot verify every teacher. Before paying for a class or meeting in person, ask for references and start with a short trial. Meet in safe public places or online. If something feels off, stop and report it.

8. Reporting

Please report accounts or content that violate these rules through the contact page. We review reports and take action — up to and including permanent removal — when warranted.
